The Best Affordable Lip Liners!

The Nyx lip liners, along with the Milani ones, are definitely my favorite from the drugstore.
If you want the "kylie Jenner" lip, opt for the Nyx regular lip liner in peekaboo neutral.
My other favorites include the mechanical lip liners in the colors Nude and Nude Pink.

Pros:
- Apply very smooth on the lips.
- Blend easily.
- Very pigmented.
- Do not settle in your lines.
- Very affordable and the quality is comparable to those of high-end brands.

Cons:
- I love the mechanical lip pencil but the product has a tendency to break off at times if you're not careful.

New Maybelline Colorsensational "The Buff" Lipstick Review

Taken from DulceCandy.com. I thought this was very informative on the color selection

I know there are a lot of reviews on these right now so I decided to try them out and see if they are worth the hype! Here are my thoughts:
Pros:
  • Very affordable (around $4.99)
  • They application is very smooth and buttery
  • Nice color range
  • The darker colors have more of a brown undertone (not a pro or con)
Cons:
  • The colors apply lighter than they look in the package
  • Makes dry or chapped lips more obvious
  • They are not very pigmented
Rate: 3.5/5
My main issue with this lipstick is that it sets into the lines of your lips and makes them more obvious, even if your lips are not chapped. Definitely make sure to wear lip balm before applying these.

*Below are pictures I took of my favorite one. It really gives you that Kim Kardashian style nude lip. This color may be too light on darker skin tones.

A Little Piece of Heaven!

Mini Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Conditioner

Product Description: "The formula with argan oil from Morocco and apricot soaks deep into frizzy, dry hair to smooth each strand."
I just returned from a trip overseas this month and picked up a few travel size items for it. I'm never really too fond of these products themselves, it's more about convenience than anything. I did not expect to like this or think anything about it but this has definitely grabbed my attention! I used this twice and it literally made the biggest difference in my hair! I have very long hair that tends to get frizzy if I don't use the right products and this really got to the core of my hair issues. It also smells really yummy too! Yummy Yummy Yummy!
Now I'm not saying that this will replace the high end hair products that do wonders, but if you're on a budget and need something to help tame frizz and keep your hair soft and sleek, I definitely recommend trying this product! Everyone's hair is different so what works for me may not work for you. I will definitely be purchasing the regular size and hopefully this is an affordable answer to my frizz nightmares!

First Review: Buxom Sculpted Lash Mascara

I'm the type of girl that has eyelashes that grow straight downwards and do not curl easily, which makes me very picky when buying mascara. I think I've tried every mascara there is out there and only a few have really done it for me, this being one of them! I received a sample of this and ended up loving it!
I especially love using this mascara for days when I'm doing a more natural look. It curls (thanks to its S shaped wand) and separates the lashes very well. This is one of the few mascaras that does not clump easily which is definitely a plus for me. Keep in mind, this gives you a really nice "she's not wearing mascara kind of mascara." I don't think it's meant to be over-the-top. I really love using this as a base under a volumizing mascara as well. It works the best this way in my opinion!
Pros:
  • Separates lashes very well and does not clump.
  • Gives a decent amount of length.
  • Very fresh and natural looking.
  • Very good base for adding on another mascara.
Cons:
  •  Does not give much volume.
  • May be considered too natural looking for some.
  • A bit more pricey than drugstore.

I hope this review was helpful! In my upcoming reviews I will definitely be adding pictures of a product applied on along with swatches and all that good stuff! There are also many more mascara reviews to come, since I'm always trying a new one!

About Me

Welcome to my blog! I am a full time college student who loves retail therapy at Sephora and CVS (if you know what I mean :)!  I figured since I love to buy and review makeup, I might as well turn it into a hobby! My blog will be reviewing drugstore and high-end makeup as well as other products. I will also be posting random snippets of my day.  My favorite YouTube guru is FleurDeForce and this blog is inspired by her in some ways.  All photos of mine will be taken by my iPhone, hopefully that turns out well! :)
Comment and let me know what products you would like me to review or ask me anything beauty related. I would love your feedback.
